Your new role
As the Finance Business Partner for UK & Ireland affiliate you are responsible for accurate financial control, budgeting, business analysis and financial forecasting for 36+ months. You will contribute to the strategic and operational development of the business. Oversee sustainable performance to deliver LEO’s 2030 aspirations (revenue growth/EBIT margin) in the UKIE markets which will include:

Decision Support: provide high-value adding services to influence and support management decisions in order to drive profitable business growth e.g. tenders, ROI analysis, brand profitability, opportunities for value creation, review and optimisation of commercial deals

Performance Management: own various management information reports for the UK & Ireland business. Ensure robust month end processes are in place to deliver timely and accurate management information. Provide insight on drivers of financial performance and suggest corrective actions where needed.

Financial Planning: deliver robust financial forecasts, based on clear business assumptions for the UK & Ireland business. Assist in the co-ordination and presentation of the UK & Ireland financial plans – including target setting, budget, forecasting, and analysis. In addition to providing long term financial planning for long term sales forecast and business cases.

Demand Planning: working with commercial and supply chain to drive forecast accuracy of 36 month rolling forecast.

Cost Control: deliver tight cost control and drive OPEX forecast accuracy for business unit direct costs and UK & Ireland support functions/indirect costs. Penetrate spend and identify cost saving opportunities / optimised resource allocation. Run monthly budget reviews with cost centre owners.
This is a UK head office based role in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with options of hybrid working.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

Degree level education or equivalent

Appropriate Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Demonstrable experience as a finance analyst or business partner preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry

Strong analytical skills combined with excellent business acumen

Able to work as a trusted partner to the business and collaborate with internal & external stakeholders

Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization

Excellent communication skills
