Our Embedded Systems Solutions department (ESS) encompasses all activities outlined under the Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) process framework, including systems engineering, software engineering, coding, and all levels of functional testing. Beyond core development, ESS also integrates critical supporting processes such as project management, risk assessment, functional safety, and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards and delivering reliable, secure, and high-quality embedded systems & solutions.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Integration Engineer to join our team, focusing on Electric Vehicle (EV) Propulsion Integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in EV propulsion integration engineering, PiL/ViL test experience in design validation, and a strong foundation in engineering principles. This role is critical for ensuring the seamless integration and validation of EV propulsion systems within our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
EV Propulsion Integration:
·Lead the integration of EV propulsion systems, ensuring compatibility and performance within the vehicle architecture.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize propulsion system integration.
PiL/ViL Test Experience :
·Conduct Processor-in-the-Loop (PiL) and Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL) tests for design validation.
·Analyze test results to ensure compliance with design specifications and performance standards.
Design of Experiments (DOE) and Execution:
·Develop and execute DOEs to optimize system performance and reliability.
·Interpret and analyze experimental data to drive design improvements.
Vehicle DV Planning & Execution:
·Create and manage Design Verification (DV) plans for vehicle systems.
·Execute DV tests and document results to validate vehicle performance.
·Implement data logging strategies to capture critical performance metrics.
·Analyze logged data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
8D Problem Solving:
·Utilize the 8D problem-solving methodology to address and resolve complex engineering issues.
·Document and communicate findings and corrective actions.
Engineering Principles:
·Apply strong engineering first principles to all aspects of integration and validation.
·Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge / Experience:
·Proven experience with PiL/ViL testing and design validation.
·Strong background in DOE development and execution.
·Proficiency in vehicle DV planning and execution.
·Expertise in data logging and analysis.
·Skilled in 8D problem-solving methodology.
·Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
·Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
