We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented standalone Financial Operations Lead to take ownership of our client\’s accounting function. If you thrive in a busy, varied role and enjoy seeing the bigger picture of a business\’s financial health, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. Your duties will include: Processing invoices, expenses and reconciling supplier statements Ensuring all bank transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled Assisting with VAT calculations and submissions Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including preparing reports and statements Assisting with payroll processing Maintaining accurate financial records in line with regulations and company policiesRequirements Proven accounting experience – preferably part-qualified ACCA / CIMA (all candidates will be considered included QBE and AAT applicants) Excellent proficiency with Xero A solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles Strong numerical and analytic skills with high attention to detail Excellent organisational and time management skillsPlease note this client is not able to offer sponsorship for this role so you do need to be able to demonstrate a full right to live and work in the UK.
