The Role
We\’re looking for a highly experienced Senior DSP and Communications Engineer to join our client, playing a key role in the development of a cost-optimised distributed RDF system.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in SDR, DSP, and RF communications, particularly in designing high-performance receiver systems.
Our client is open to Permanent and Contract (Outside IR35) so please get in touch to let us know your preference.
Key Responsibilities & Experience:
- Design of high dynamic range broadband radio receivers
- SDR and hybrid analogue/SDR systems
- Development of DSP algorithms, including implementation on FPGA
- Signal search and identification techniques
- Understanding of radio propagation, noise, and interference
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Strong background in both analogue and DSP aspects of receiver design
- 10+ years\’ experience in RF, DSP, and communications systems
- Proficiency in at least one modern DSP language or methodology
- A degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
