Our client, a global leader in secure and resilient maritime communications, is looking to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the UK, USA, and other key international territories.

With a strong presence across all maritime domains, and with a growing interest in the Oil & Gas and Offshore sectors, the business offers a holistic range of hardware, airtime, and smart service solutions. This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation at the forefront of maritime connectivity, with a focus on building lasting client relationships and future-proofing the product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the full suite of the company’s maritime communications solutions, sector wide but with emphasis on the commercial shipping, offshore and Oil & Gas sectors
  • Generate and manage new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets
  • Lead and support a small international team (UK & Netherlands)
  • Collaborate closely with service and technical teams to ensure outstanding client support
  • Handle inbound sales enquiries and contribute to wider strategic account development
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, events, and customer engagements worldwide
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and account planning

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven background in selling maritime NAVCOM solutions
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing small sales teams (1-2 reports initially)
  • Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of the maritime market, including end users
  • Confident engaging with both technical stakeholders and senior leadership (including C-suite)
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working flexibly across time zones
  • IT literate (MS365) with experience using CRM/sales tracking tools
  • Eligible to obtain UK SC (Security Clearance)
  • This is not a standard 9–5 role – flexibility is essential, and significant international travel is expected, sometimes at short notice.

This is a key hire for a global business with a strong industry reputation, offering the chance to lead sales efforts in vital international markets. The role combines strategic input, hands-on client engagement, and people leadership—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-led environment.
