Job Description
As the Senior Manager for MC IP Infrastructure, Methodology, and Automation, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of our microcontroller IP portfolio. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, define and execute strategic methodologies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality IP solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

In your new role you will:

  • Manage and inspire a team of engineers specializing in IP infrastructure, methodology, and automation, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Be part of a wide organization supporting Concept Engineering (u-arch), Design, Verification, and any possible automation to accelerate our developments
  • Be accountable for the performance, results, and budget of your team by setting employee performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and recommending pay actions
  • Oversee the design and implementation of microcontroller IP infrastructure , ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
  • Develop and implement best-in-class design methodologies and workflows to improve efficiency and quality across the IP development lifecycle
  • Provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues, and/or customers

Your Profile
You are a strong team player and skilled communicator eager to further develop your leadership skills in a collaborative and innovative environment. Combining your technical expertise with strategic thinking, you confidently navigate complex situations to align decisions with business goals. Passionate about continuous improvement, you embrace cutting-edge technologies to create scalable, efficient, and impactful solutions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, or similar field of studies
  • At least 8 years of experience either in Hardware u-architecture, Design, or Verification field with interest in driving IP automation – preferably within the semiconductor industry
  • Willingness to lead cross-functional teams and give strong support to our Technical Leads
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (e.g., VHDL, Verilog)
  • Familiarity with IP development tools and methodologies (e.g., synthesizable RTL, DFT, PPA optimization)
  • Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of integrated circuit design, pre-silicon verification, and post-silicon validation
  • Availability to travel to other Infineon locations
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
