The Site Finance Lead is a key and influential member of the Site Leadership Team; the purpose of this role is to drive site performance through the provision of timely, accurate and insightful information. The jobholder is responsible for providing financial management reporting for the ETL, used in the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle. They will analyse past processes and implement new aligned and standardised reporting processes across the European business, working closely with BU heads of finance, FDs, IT and other functional teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Operations Finance Lead Manager with overall responsibility for Financial Controls / SOX compliance and Financial Reporting across the Attleborough Site.
- Co-ordination of the month end and year end process for Attleborough. Taking ownership for month end and year end delivery within the agreed timetable.
- Co-ordination of the rolling monthly forecast process for Attleborough. Presenting key movements, risks and opportunities.
- Adopt a continuous improvement mindset whereby the efficient production and relevance of financial reporting is constantly reviewed.
- Responsibility for the identification of best practice process controls and their implementation within the SAP and Innova system platforms.
- Strong influencer and leader of change across Attleborough Site and the wider Finance Team.
- Delivery of timely, accurate and actionable operational financial reporting.
- Effective controls with no unaccounted for prior period charges.
- Be recognised for bringing insights and ideas that influence and shape the business.
- Identification and implementation of best practice ways of working and process controls.

Essential Criteria
- Proven operational Finance team leadership within a manufacturing environment. Ability to provide challenge and critique, continuous improvement mindset, stakeholder management.
- A forward thinking, process driven and collaborative Business Knowledge, ability to influence and buy in key stakeholders, 3 years relevant business experience.

- Experience of working within a Food based FMCG and experience of SOX is desirable.
