We\’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role within our Industrial Services division, supporting a high-profile, multi-million pound Hazardous Waste business.
This is an opportunity to combine technical financial expertise with strategic partnering, influencing decision‑making at senior operational and commercial levels.
The role
As Senior Financial Analyst, you will act as the primary finance contact for the Hazardous Waste leadership team, providing high‑quality insight, robust reporting and forward‑looking analysis to support performance and growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly P&Ls, ensuring timely and accurate period‑end close
- Producing financial reports for business cases, capital investment and change initiatives
- Leading budgeting, reforecasting and annual planning cycles
- Delivering end‑of‑year and monthly performance reporting for senior stakeholders
- Proactively identifying profit improvement opportunities in partnership with the Business Director and wider leadership team
- Maintaining strong financial controls and governance
- Supporting operational teams across multiple sites, including site visits, audits and trading reviews
You’ll have genuine autonomy over your area while working closely with the Finance Business Partner and divisional leadership.
What do I need to be successful:
- Part‑qualified or qualified accountant status (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally within services, logistics, industrial or waste environments
- Advanced Excel and Power BI capability
- Experience partnering with operational and commercial teams across multiple locations
- A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence
