Overview
Nomad Foods was formed in 2015 and with revenues of €2.6bn is the largest frozen food company in Europe. Nomad owns a portfolio of leading brands including Birds Eye, Findus and iglo, supplemented in 2018 with the purchase of Goodfellas Pizza and Aunt Bessie’s, and in 2021 with the purchase of Ledo and Frikom.
We manufacture and distribute a range of branded frozen food products across 22 European countries with the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Sweden and France representing our five largest markets.

We are proposing that our new Shared Finance Centre will house both our Financial Accounting teams and our Financial Planning and Analysis Centre of Expertise.

The role will provide administrative support for the processing of all cash related transactions across multiple currencies both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Process journal entries within the SAP general ledger system
- Processing of Vendor & customer payment runs in SAP
- Manual processing of Month End Revaluations in SAP
- Month end Bank Reconciliations. Daily statement uploads and clearing of payments to vendor/customer accounts.
- Payroll payment processing
- Weekly Cash Flow Forecasting
- Monthly FX Hedge Forecasting
- Support with Internal and external audit requests
- Intercompany reconciliation
- Process improvements
- Proactive ownership and investigation of queries/issues that may arise, escalating and reporting any inconsistences to supervisor or manager in a timely manner.
- Reviewing processes and outstanding issues to ensure a high level of service is maintained globally
- Ensure end to end understanding of all operational tasks and how they relate and impact all processes. Ensure standard ways of working are applied consistently
- Maintain compliance with the set of SOX controls applied to departmental operations
- Any other ad hoc duties as directed by your Supervisor or Line Manager
Qualifications
Essential
- Experience in an accounting function with knowledge of cash management and general ledger maintenance activities
- Experience of posting payments on ledger
- Experience in bank reconciliations
- Computer skills including the ability to operate computerised accounting, spreadsheet (Excel), and email (Outlook) at a proficient level
- An understanding of cash management and cash processing activities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
