Summary
Our client, an accredited Lloyds Broker, is an international insurance broking group with a footprint in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Far East.
They are looking to strengthen and grow their City of London based Reinsurance team. Placing and servicing a mixed property & casualty portfolio across proportional & non-proportional contracts.
The role will be for a Treaty Reinsurance Broker, but our client is open to training a Reinsurance Technician who is looking for the next step in their career.
So, there is room for an experienced Treaty Broker or someone with treaty knowledge from a broker or carrier perspective who is keen to progress.
Depending on your level of expertise and knowledge the role and responsibilities can be adapted to meet your level of experience.
* You will provide a 360-degree portfolio management service.
* This will include managing the relationship with clients to understand their needs.
* Create reinsurance programs that will meet the client\’s requirements.
* Identify suitable markets in Lloyds and overseas.
* Prepare market broking MRC documentation /packs.
* Lead negotiations with reinsurers.
Essential Requirements
* 2 years + experience in treaty reinsurance within the Syndicate or Company market.
* Strong communication and relationship management skills
* Resourceful and innovative
* Able to perform under pressure and achieve critical deadlines
