Job Description

Are you confident with plumbing fittings and enjoy a busy, customer-facing role?

Do you live within commutable distance of Higham Ferrers?

Our rapidly expanding client who are a local plumbers merchant are looking for a Branch Assistant to join their friendly team

This is a full-time, hands-on role in a trade environment with a mix of responsibilities including:

  • Serving trade & retail customers
  • Picking & packing orders
  • Receiving deliveries & managing stock
  • Keeping the shop and warehouse tidy
  • Advising customers on plumbing & bathroom products

The Person:

  • Plumbing knowledge (essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous trade counter or merchant experience (preferred)
  • Positive, reliable, and ready to get stuck in
  • Good communication & team spirit

The salary available for this permanent role is £30,000 – £32,000 working Monday – Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm and every other Saturday 8:00am – 1:00pm
