Overview
As a Peripatetic Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Care Home Managers to drive premium care quality and compliance across the region, in addition to managing a specific care home in the absence of a Home Manager if required. Your role will include overseeing all elements of residents\β care, developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and driving business opportunities, and maintaining budgets and controlling costs. You will be an inspiring leader who, while supporting day-to-day operations of our care homes, seeks opportunities to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing for both residents and our home teams.
Travel to other areas where our homes are located may be required, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Support Care Home Managers to drive premium care quality and compliance across the region.
- Manage a specific care home in the absence of a Home Manager when required.
- Oversee all elements of residents\β care and wellbeing.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and drive business opportunities; maintain budgets and control costs.
- Lead and inspire care home teams to deliver high standards of person-centred care.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years\β experience as a Care Home Manager within a dementia setting.
- Nursing Qualification with active NMC PIN β desirable but not essential.
- An Adult Social Care qualification of level 5 or above (level 4 Registered Managers Award will be considered if willing to complete level 5).
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards with a demonstrated record of achieving Good/Outstanding ratings.
- Demonstrated marketing and business development skills within the private care sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with residents, families, professionals and home teams.
