About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our well-established GP surgery in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a friendly and professional team. The role offers flexibility in terms of hours, with an ideal preference for Tuesdays and Fridays but we are happy to discuss alternative availability.

- Hours: 08:30 AM β 16:30 PM
- Dates: Starting from 15th December, ongoing
- Hourly Rate: Β£40.00 β Β£50.00 per hour, dependent on pay type
- EMIS Web: Experience with EMIS Web is required
- Parking: On-site parking available
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients within the scope of your practice as an ANP
- Prescribe medications and order necessary tests
- Work alongside GPs and other clinical staff in a collaborative, patient-centered environment
- Provide high-quality care, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction
- Manage a caseload effectively within the surgery\βs protocols
Requirements
- NMC registered and experienced ANP with prescribing qualifications
- Previous experience in a primary care setting (preferably with EMIS Web)
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Ideally available on Tuesdays and Fridays, but flexible for the right candidate
