As a vital part of the Engineering team, you\’ll bring your expertise in electrical systems, PLCs, and SCADA to maintain and enhance our site operations. You\’ll play a critical role in minimising downtime, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring electrical compliance across the board.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide technical support for fault diagnosis and breakdowns across plant and site services.
- Lead the ongoing upgrade and documentation of PLC systems (with a strong focus on Rockwell platforms).
- Administer electrical drawings, schematics, and software backups, ensuring critical systems are always up to date.
- Oversee project implementation: installation, commissioning, software updates, and legacy system support.
- Act as Electrical Duty Holder, ensuring compliance with PAT, inspection/testing procedures, and site standards.
- Manage site-wide electrical competencies and authorisations for engineering personnel.
- Participate in and lead CI initiatives to maximise operational efficiency and performance.
About you:
- Strong working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs, SCADA systems (iFix), networking technologies, and electrical compliance.
- Experience with additional platforms such as Siemens, DeviceNet, Modicon, and legacy systems (e.g., Texas 5Ti, Mitsi).
- Ability to manage projects from design and documentation through to commissioning and performance tracking.
- A team player with strong communication skills who can collaborate across departments and with senior management.
- A proactive mindset towards safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
