IT Infrastructure & Security Director is required by a large IT company to lead IT infrastructure and security operations across Europe.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing IT infrastructure, including data centres, networks, and cloud systems.
- Optimizing infrastructure for performance, availability, and scalability through continuous improvement and capacity planning.
- Leading IT service management, ensuring efficient service delivery, support processes, and effective incident and change management.
- Driving enterprise-wide IT security strategy, leading the development of policies, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with global standards and regulatory frameworks (eg, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Leading IT strategy and innovation, leveraging emerging trends to shape infrastructure, service, and security roadmaps.
Required experience and skills:
- Experience in leading complex IT environments encompassing data centres, network infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, including Office 365, Azure Cloud, and Microsoft Modern Workplace, with a focus on cloud solutions, collaboration, and security.
- Wide range of security tools and technologies experience.
- Good knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIS2, and other frameworks.
- Willingness to travel to sites across Southern England and Europe as required.
