Job Description
Job Title: Relief Security Officer / Security Concierge\\nLocation: Covering Watford, Hemel Hempstead, and Hatfield areas (Postcodes: WD18, HP2, AL10)\\nPay Rate: £12.36 £14.00 per hour (site dependent)\\nStart Date: ASAP\\n\\nOur client currently recruiting a professional and flexible Relief Security Officer / Concierge to support corporate office sites across the Watford, Hemel Hempstead, and Hatfield areas. This role requires a high level of customer service, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different site requirements and environments.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n * Providing a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience\\n\\n * Handling reception duties, including managing visitors and basic administrative tasks\\n\\n * Conducting security patrols across office buildings\\n\\n * Responding to fire and intruder alarm activations\\n\\n * Monitoring access control systems and managing site entry\\n\\n * Reporting maintenance issues and escalating incidents appropriately\\n\\n * Lone working on occasion as required\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * \\n\\n * Valid SIA Licence Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervisor (DS)\\n\\n * Excellent customer service and front-of-house presence\\n\\n * Strong communication skills (spoken and written English)\\n\\n * Experience in patrolling, access control, or reception duties is preferred\\n\\n * Previous corporate security experience is an advantage\\n\\n * Must be reliable, well-presented, and able to work across various sites as needed\\n\\nShift Details:\\n\\n * \\n\\n * Relief coverage hours and locations will vary based on site needs\\n\\n * Mixture of day and night shifts\\n\\n * Average hours per week will vary\\n\\nAdditional Information:\\n\\n * \\n\\n * Free parking available on sites\\n\\n * Uniform provided\\n\\nCity Group is committed to equal opportunities.
