We’re on the hunt for a proactive, credible Senior HR Officer to join our Gordon Ramsay Restaurants People function, playing an integral role in delivering a best in class people experience, reporting into the HR Business Partner.
This position will be based in our Support Office located in Wandsworth Road (London) with regular travel to Central London restaurants.
This will be a hands-on generalist role that calls for someone who is comfortable with managing employee relations, end to end case management and advising our manager’s to support performance of our people. You’ll support the HR Business Partners with day-to-day People Operations; partnering and advising our Restaurant Management teams to ensure the embedding of effective, compliant and professional local HR practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into Employee Relations issues and provide timely and effective resolution of cases.
- Upskill our management teams by delivering engaging and informative training sessions on HR processes.
- Champion HR best practices by staying informed on industry standards, internally advocating for their adoption, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance and streamline HR processes
- People Analytics that will enable us to make smart, well-informed people-related business decisions aligned with the wider People Strategy.
- Managing our HR reporting – case logs, trackers, trend reports and updates for leadership team
- Manage our HR Reporting by maintaining accurate and up-to-date case logs, trackers, and trend reports to generate regular updates for the leadership team, highlighting key HR metrics and trends.
- Management of our People Systems (Fourth) to ensure all information is updated correctly ensuring proper usage at a local level and maintaining accurate data.
About you:
- Proven experience of working in a dynamic and fast-paced People Team within a multi-site high volume business
- Strong commercial acumen and possess a strong understanding of the business operation
- Make data-driven recommendations to enhance business performance.
- Expertise in providing effective employee relations advice, case management and resolution of complex issues.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including restaurant management teams, Senior Operations Teams and wider Support Office departments.
- Ability to connect quickly and build positive relationships with our teams.
- Strong coaching skills to develop and empower our teams at all levels
- Sharp numerical & analytical skills to drive informed decision-making, ensuring precise and data-driven solutions
- Championing honesty and integrity as essential qualities
- Strong communication skills both written & verbal with the ability to confidently convey complex HR concepts in a clear and informative way.
- A passion for restaurants, food and hospitality and an understanding of the unique challenges as part of a fast paced people team within the sector
