Graduate Electrical Engineer Location: Gloucester Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 per annum depending on experience Are you a recent graduate in Electrical Engineering looking to kickstart your career with a leading engineering consultancy? We\’re offering a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team and grow within a technically challenging and rewarding environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and hands-on involvement in building services projects. You\’ll gain experience across the full project lifecycle—from electrical documentation to supporting site-based engineering teams. What You’ll Be Doing Assisting with electrical design tasks across live construction projects Supporting the production of single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, specifications, layout drawings, and I/O lists Collaborating with client teams on controls and instrumentation Providing support to on-site electrical contractors to ensure high-quality installations Assisting with health and safety documentation (RAMS) and cross-disciplinary coordination Gaining exposure to CDM regulations and industry compliance requirements What We’re Looking For A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline A solid understanding of electrical systems, circuit design, and UK compliance standards Keen interest in site-based engineering and installation practices Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a multidisciplinary environment Enthusiasm for developing expertise in instrumentation, control systems, and packaged plant installations For more information, contact Rory McStay
