Our client, a reputable company in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Production Technician for an initial 2-month contract. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient operation of their production line within a small, dedicated team.

Shifts will be for 2 months, working on Nights 22:00 – 06:00 or rotating earlies 06:00 – 14:00 and Lates 14:00 – 22:00

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load shipping containers with Sulphur bulk product using a telescopic loading conveyor.
  • Inspect product forming machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Carry out operational rounds of all processes.
  • Cut large sheets of wood for the container loading process.
  • Inspect and replenish the fume scrubber system and filter.
  • Use a permit-approved system for Sulphur deliveries.
  • Once trained, carry out inspection rounds of the steam boiler.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks and general cleaning duties.
  • Always wear designated PPE and immediately report any defects.
  • Perform manual lifting of wooden boards (20 kg) using a 2-person lift.
