Are you looking for temporary work over the summer period and beyond? We are keen to recruit students and graduates or candidates looking for temporary work available now or in the next month or so. We are keen to register you now if you are available for any dates from now until students return to studying or graduates looking for permanent roles/taking a year out/travel etc. We have regular work in admin, reception and customer service-related roles. All office based. If you are looking for immediate permanent work then these won't be relevant roles.
Job Profile
Various office-based roles, some of them being hybrid working, in administration, reception, customer service, data entry, finance etc. Full and part time hours will be available.
Responsibilities:
Wide ranging and varying dependent on each particular assignment but these are some of the duties that will come up:
- Administration – varied and covers a wide range of subjects. Anything from data entry to Excel management, from project work to HR admin.
- Reception – front of house, meet and greet, taking and transferring calls, looking after meeting rooms etc.
- Finance – supporting across various transactional accounts roles including sales, purchase ledger, credit control, payroll, basic invoicing etc.
- Customer service – various firms needing support with telephone or email based communications.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:
- The more exposure to similar work the better however any experience in hospitality or retail often transfers well
- Candidates with no experience will be considered and simply need excellent communication skills, good written and verbal grammar, a strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
- Immediate roles require some admin and finance experience and good Excel
Hours: Working hours vary. A lot of roles are Mon to Fri with some being 5 over 7 (meaning you would work at least one weekend day per week). Hours are usually 7 to 8 per day and we will have full time (35 – 40 hours per week) as well as ad hoc days where clients need anything from a one-off day to 2 – 3 days per week. We have immediate starts but will have roles coming through continuously from now throughout the summer. Some roles look for a minimum of 6 months commitment if that is of interest.
Salary: £12.21 to £13.00 per hour (maybe more on the occasional role). Rates vary dependent on the role and client. You will also accrue holiday pay.
Location: Various locations around Leeds. Some occasional work in Wakefield and Bradford.
