Arc Partnership is a joint venture between Nottinghamshire County Council (NCC) and SCAPE. Formed in 2016 to support the council in creating an efficient, safe, and sustainable land and property portfolio.

We deliver multi- disciplinary property design, consultancy, master planning, regeneration, project/programme management, construction, emergency, reactive, compliance asset management, planned services, estate management services as well as managing the development/ disposal projects on behalf of Nottingham County Council

Its a great opportunity to grow and build a career by joining our multi-disciplinary, registered RICS Estate Management Practiceproviding valuation and estate management services on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council and other third-party clients.

As part of a larger team, the role is incredibly varied, so theres lots of opportunity to build on your academic knowledge, and grow your estates practice experience including property maintenance, account servicing as well as acquisition and disposal of property from inception to completion.

What youll do:

Reporting to the Director of Estates Practice, youll help the team progress a portfolio of work related to:
?
- Property Management: serving notices, negotiating leases, rent reviews, inspections, including records of condition and dilapidation.
- Monitor expenditure/ authorising payments: prepare accounts relating to service charges, meter readings, authorising orders of work.
- Prepare valuations: for a full range or purposes, market value, rent, rating, insurance and asset valuations.
- Negotiations: for acquisitions, compulsory purchase with associated assessment and settlement of compensation claims.
- Property Viewings: accompany prospective purchasers in viewing properties.
- Prepare documentation: including technical documentation and contracts for minor sales and acquisitions and compensation claims.

- Hold a degree accredited by RICS or equivalent related professional field.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge of estates management, development and valuation activity.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Have meticulous attention to detail.
- A current clean driving Licence and access to the use of a car.

- Have experience of managing client relationships either through a work placement or previous role.
- An understanding of the political, commercial and economic context within which property/estates management and development activities are undertaken.
- An understanding of Health and Safety, CDM and Building Safety Regulations and related regulation/law.
