Security Officer Role at Prestigious Client Site

In this high-profile security officer role, you will ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site.

An experienced Security Officer with exceptional customer focus will carry out a range of duties including:

  • Managing access control for buildings and car parks for employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Patrolling buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect problems
  • Responding to customer requests and queries
  • Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach
  • Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary
  • Maintaining records, including incident reports, using computer- and paper-based systems
  • Monitoring CCTV to prevent crime and ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors
  • Completing incident reports/statements and maintaining records of events during incidents
  • Collaborating with other officers and management to ensure effective security and safety services

This is a permanent role with hours that may vary. Shifts are typically 12 hours, following a 4 on 4 off pattern covering days and nights, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility and reliability are essential to support your colleagues.

An SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is required. To succeed, you will also need:

  • Strong customer service skills and experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Experience in a customer-facing security role
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Five years of checkable history and references
  • Ability to pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards

Additional useful but not essential qualifications include:

  • A First Aid at Work qualification
  • An SIA CCTV (PSS) Licence
