The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Our client, an interior design business in Central London, are looking to recruit an Account Receivable/Credit Manager for their thriving accounts team. This role is to start ASAP on a 3 month temporary basis but there is a strong possibility of extension or even a permanent role. The role is 5 days a week in the office, 9.00 – 5.00pm.

The most important thing for this role is that the successful applicant can build strong client relationships. They are looking for someone to client manage and essential build rapport and good working relationships with clients so that resolution on any issues is swift and stress free. As a result, the successful applicant must have excellent communication skills and be able to give examples of how they have built strong working relationships in the past.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with clients
  • Manage one team member
  • Oversee credit checks, setting and reviewing customer credit limits and terms in line with risk profiles.
  • Provide strategic input into customer onboarding, credit risk exposure and commercial decision making.
  • Manage escalated and high-value or sensitive accounts, including negotiation and resolution of disputes.
  • Present regular reports and strategic insights to senior leadership on cash flow and debtor performance
  • Lead the continuous improvement of processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Invoicing and reconciliations where required.

Key Skills & Experience required:

  • You must be available to start at short notice
  • Excellent client relationship building skills and query resolution
  • Proven experience in a senior credit role, ideally within a fast paced, growth focused business.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to interpret financial data and influence decision making.
  • Proficient in credit management systems and financial reporting tools.
