Job Description
Operational Resilience Engineer – Backup, AD, M365
Our client, a leading organisation in its sector, is seeking an Operational Resilience Engineer to support a critical programme of work focused on Backup, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. This role plays a key part in ensuring the business can respond effectively to cyber incidents, including ransomware scenarios, by strengthening operational resilience and validating recovery plans.
You'll be great for this role if you have:
- Strong background in infrastructure and cyber security with hands-on delivery across both
- In-depth experience with Active Directory (on-prem and Entra ID), including configuration assessment
- Proven expertise in backup technologies, recovery processes, and gap analysis
- Solid understanding of operational resilience and Minimum Viable Company (MVC) planning
- Experience working across Legacy systems and modern cloud platforms such as Azure and Microsoft 365
This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. The role is based in Basingstoke, with 2 days per week on-site.
