3.5 Tonne Driver
Location: Kennington, LondonHours: 47.75 hours per week — Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm, with alternate Saturdays, 7:00am-1:00pmSalary: £32,000-£33,000 per year (depending on experience)
Overview
A 3.5-Tonne Driver is required to support the daily distribution of building materials across London and surrounding areas. This role involves ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of goods to customers and project sites, maintaining high standards of service and vehicle care.

Responsibilities

Deliver building materials within the M25 area and occasionally further afield

Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle as required

Maintain the delivery vehicle in good condition and to a high standard

Plan delivery routes effectively to ensure punctual service

Unload goods safely at customer premises

Obtain signatures upon delivery and issue invoices

Process credit card payments during deliveries if required

Keep delivery records accurate and up-to-date

Return any undelivered items to the branch at the end of the route
