Nutreco, part of the SHV family, is committed to \’Feeding the Future\’ through sustainable and innovative practices. We operate two main business lines: Skretting , a global leader in aquafeed solutions, and Trouw Nutrition , focused on advancing livestock health and productivity.
We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead our Young Animal Feed (YAF) portfolio in Great Britain. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive innovation in calf nutrition, increase sales, and promote sustainable animal production.
You will oversee the YAF business in GB, leading a dedicated technical team. If you are passionate about expanding market share, launching innovative products, and making a positive impact on customers and animals, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical and commercial strategy for YAF in GB
- Drive sales to meet profit and volume targets
- Manage and develop the technical team
- Coordinate with internal departments on portfolio and pricing
- Launch new products and expand own label offerings
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction
- Act as a local leader within the ECA YAF strategy team
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field
- 5+ years in animal nutrition, technical sales, or product management
- Knowledge of calf nutrition and the GB milk replacer market
- Experience managing product portfolios, pricing, and campaigns
- Line management experience preferred
- Strong communication, commercial mindset, analytical skills, and ability to work independently and with teams
- Willingness to travel regularly across GB (60-80%)
