Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of ‘Extended Life Solutions’ for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an opportunity for a Final Inspection Team Leader to join our team based in Staverton to support our continued success and ambitious growth plans.
What will you be doing?
As a Final Inspection Team Leader , you will lead a team of Inspectors responsible for providing quality products and services to Ontic’s customers. You will be responsible for developing a team capable of achieving a level of throughput and quality that meets organizational requirements. You will help to develop, refine, and execute inspection processes and functions, as well as supervise all functions of the Final Release Cell, making priority decisions to support the business’s throughput.
What skills or experience do you need?
You’ll be a natural leader with experience in a similar role or seeking your first step into a team leader role. You need a minimum of two years’ experience working within Aerospace and at least 6 months’ experience overseeing the release of Aerospace products. Ideally, you will have knowledge of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and gaseous products, as well as industry standards such as AS9100, BS EN ISO9001:2008, and EASA Part 21 release. You should be able to raise Material Reject Reports (MRRs) and have knowledge of non-conformity reports. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels is essential for this role.
