We are looking for a Business Support Supervisor/Study Coordinator to work in our environmental science team at our site in Shardlow, Derbyshire.
This is an exciting, new opportunity to join a knowledgeable and dynamic team where you will play an integral role in supporting Ecotoxicology/CPC Analytical. You will coordinate the activities of a variety of routine and non-routine studies and will work in compliance with appropriate company standards, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory guidelines specified in the study plans governing the work in which they are involved in a timely, efficient and quality manner. You will also have the opportunity to supervise Business Support staff performing administrative/study coordination tasks making this a great opportunity for the next step in your career!
Main responsibilities include:
- Supervising Business Support staff
- Coordinating the activities of key client studies in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Working closely with Study Directors to support all studies
- Drafting study documentation & generating study data
- Overseeing report production through finalization and archiving of data
- Liaising with clients regarding study issues and working as part of a larger team to ensure the study is completed in a timely manner

Education:
- BSc or equivalent industry experience
Skills and experience:
- Environmental science background or strong interest in this area
- Supervisory exposure or experience
- Ideally collating data, report writing and administrative experience
- Some knowledge of GLP, GCP guidelines, ideally having worked in a highly regulated environment.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple changing priorities
- Excellent I.T skills in particular with Microsoft packages (Word and excel) paired with the ability to learn new bespoke systems
