About the Job
The Analyst, Franchise Revenues is responsible for ongoing tasks such as period reporting, accounting for franchise and license revenues, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and Corporate Policy. Quarterly and annual reporting duties include preparing schedules, assisting with management analysis, and supporting audits.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for period reporting and accounting for the franchise and license revenues, including preparation of franchise revenue pages in the internal management reporting package, review of the allowance for doubtful accounts in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
- Ensure franchise upfront fee revenues, franchise incentives expenses and the related deferred income and asset accounts, are recorded in accordance with US GAAP and company policy.
- Provide accounting support on any new franchise-related initiatives or transactions
- Ensure proper accounting for upfront fees and franchise incentives to maintain the Revenue Recognition module in an appropriate system to track all upfront fees and incentives
Quarterly and Annual Reporting Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual schedules in HFM to ensure timely and accurate submission to External Reporting including analysis and summaries on A/R, AFDA and franchise revenues and incentives.
- Assist in the preparation of MD&A including explanations for franchise fees and incentives
- Support internal and external audit efforts
Is This You?
- Degree in accounting, finance or related field or accounting qualification
- + years’ accounting experience
- Strong MS Excel skills and exposure to an ERP system
- Experience in an international company
- Strong relationship-building, collaboration, and development skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines effectively, prioritize work tasks, and handle a dynamic work environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw insightful conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

This role is based out of our Restaurant Support Centre (RSC) in Woking (around minutes be train from London Waterloo) and a minimum of day per week in the RSC is required, plus occasional other days for team or market meetings.
