About the role:
As an enthusiastic and dedicated Strategic Relationship Manager at Volt, you will play a vital role in nurturing positive relationships and fuelling the growth of our rapidly expanding top tier global client base.
In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue generation, and maximizing the value of our solutions for our clients.
You will serve as the primary point of contact, collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique business needs, aligning our strategic solutions to their goals, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
What the role involves:
- High-level engagement with key stakeholders, C-level – you\’ll become a trusted advisor, build and maintain relationships
- Customised solution delivery – understanding merchant needs and working with product, solution engineering and other teams to deliver
- Contract negotiation – upselling, cross-selling, renegotiation
- Revenue preservation and growth – carrying a revenue target, developing account plans, driving expansion
- Performance monitoring & updates – MBR, QBR, recommended performance improvements
- Project Management – coordination of internal teams for the delivery of solutions
- Issue resolution – bridging internal teams and external merchant teams
- Onboarding and go live – supporting the collection of documents, cooperation of solution delivery and cooperation with solution engineering and implementation teams
- Market insights – keeping clients informed about industry trends, regulatory changes and emerging technologies
Requirements
About you
- A proactive and eager learner. At Volt you are the owner of your own growth
- You have 2-5 years of relevant experience within the online payment processing/fintech industry or in customer success, support or account management with complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure or financial services
- A comprehensive understanding of how Account-to-Account payments work is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage
- You have interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all organisational levels and functions, both inside and outside of Volt
- You\’re a natural-born networker with high energy, you are a confident self-starter with a proven commercial edge, an entrepreneurial mindset and strong negotiation skills
- You have the ability to interface seamlessly and autonomously with a global multicultural team (culturally aware, adjusts communication style to audiences)
- Fluency in English and another language would be a plus
