Fantastic Opportunity to join the Financial Planning & Reporting Team at LSBU:
We are seeking a highly efficient & proactive individual to join the Grants & Contracts team within the Management Accountancy division within LSBUβs Finance department. We support the Principal Investigators & Project Managers across the University, & take responsibility for the accounting, reporting and claims administration of an exciting mix of funded research & enterprise activity across the University.
About you: We are looking for a numerate and resourceful individual, who can learn at pace, and move seamlessly between the differing financial rules of multiple funding providers, as well as working collaboratively with a wide range of staff across the University.
The skills and experience you will need:
You will be adept at using finance systems to access transaction data and all evidence required to demonstrate transaction defrayment. You will be good at building relationships with colleagues within project teams, and with external partners, and quick to appreciate complex financial arrangements, including varying match funding levels & multiple companies & internal stakeholders. If you have well developed data analysis and manipulation skills, that would be great.
Details about the role:
Full time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and permanent.
Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
