Specialising in data centres, pharma, education, healthcare, and commercial building services, they design HVAC, heat pumps, energy centres, plant rooms, and district heating systems for high–profile clients across the UK and Europe. The Senior & Principal Mechanical Design Engineers Opportunity
We are recruiting multiple Mechanical Design Engineers at Senior and Principal levels for a permanent, full–time, office–based role in Edinburgh.
- Senior Engineer: Take ownership of your own projects from concept to completion, providing guidance and technical support to juniors and graduates, while ensuring high–quality design standards.
- Principal Engineer: Lead complex projects with full responsibility, mentor and manage team members across all levels, build strong client relationships, and drive business growth and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify mechanical building services including HVAC, heating and cooling, renewable energy systems, plant rooms, and Building Management Systems.
- Produce detailed mechanical designs, layouts, drawings, and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, sustainable solutions.
- Support junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
What We Offer
- Competitive salaries:
- Senior: GBP55,000 GBP65,000
- Principal: Up to GBP80,000
- Permanent, office–based role in Edinburgh (5 days/week)
