The Opportunity

Our business is growing rapidly, and we’re continually looking for the best and brightest talent to scale with that growth. We’re currently seeking a passionate and talented finance and accounting professional to join our EMEA Finance Team in London. This role reports to the Finance Manager in London and will collaborate closely with finance and tax teams in London and Amsterdam, as well as key stakeholders across EMEA and other global hubs.

The Role

The ideal candidate has a strong fit with Netflix\’s values and culture, can collaborate well across the organization, and has a hands-on mentality. We’re looking for someone with an accounting background who can assist with our reporting and financial statements compliance obligations for our UK production entities, including:

  • Assisting with the UK statutory accounts preparation and audits for our UK productions
  • Understanding UK filing requirements
  • Preparation of local ONS surveys across our UK productions

This role is positioned for growth as our business scales up. Relevant experience in the areas mentioned will be key when applying for the role.

  • Flexible to collaborate with our offices across multiple time zones and willing to travel overseas
  • Passionate about working in the entertainment industry

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant accounting and finance experience
  • A combination of public accounting experience and in-house experience is preferred
  • Bachelor\’s or equivalent degree in accounting or business economics, and on track for or already completed post-graduate qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CPA
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Experience with preparing statutory filing documentation for UK or international entities and managing statutory audits
  • Experience working in a multinational environment and with service providers
  • Enthusiasm for implementing and enhancing systems and processes
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business partners
  • Advanced MS Excel and Google Sheets skills, capable of navigating large data sets
  • Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud-based ERP systems is a plus
  • Experience in the entertainment or tech industry is a plus
