Location: Based in Stratford, London, with hybrid working options.

Framework: Eastern Routes Partnership (ERP) Framework for Network Rail\’s Eastern Region, Lot 4a – Distribution and Plant (Generalist).

Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of various projects, ensuring delivery in line with contractual terms and business plans. You will engage with supply chain partners, manage project costs, and monitor the commercial position to support decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial and contractual performance of projects.
  • Achieve profit targets and efficiency savings.
  • Administer change control, manage risks and opportunities.
  • Conduct compliant procurement processes and manage supply chain relationships.
  • Prepare and negotiate claims, manage subcontractor payments.
  • Attend project meetings and site visits to monitor progress.
  • Maintain accurate financial logs, cost plans, and project forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly reports and attend cost review meetings.
  • Ensure contractual and governance compliance.
  • Build relationships with clients and the commercial team.
  • Support and upskill less experienced team members.

Project Work: You will work on various projects within the ERP Framework, focusing on successful delivery and commercial performance.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a dedicated team delivering projects across multiple routes for Network Rail.
