We are working with an exciting growth credit investor who are looking for an experienced fund finance professional to join their team. This role will cover a broad range of finance tasks with most of the time being spent on fund accounting and portfolio monitoring.

Role responsibility:

  • Manage our external fund administrator to oversee day-to-day fund operations and quarterly reporting
  • Manage banking, tax, annual audit processes and third-party vendors
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage finance & operations at the firm level and compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Treasury management – maintaining sufficient cash for fundings whilst eliminating excessive IRR drag.
  • Work with FX brokers to maintain monthly forward settlements and ensure fund cashflows are sufficiently hedged.
  • Calculation and recommendation of Capital Calls and Distributions to the Partners
  • Controls & Risk management (especially around cash/funding processes)
  • Set up software tools and processes to facilitate optimal fund and firm operations and scalability
  • Liaise with the Auditors and manage the audit process
  • Prepare/review valuations and ensure full supporting documents are provided to auditors
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg structures and debt funds a plus
  • Help with the preparation of the fundraising materials, including fund presentation deck, due diligence materials, and ad-hoc due diligence requests
  • Manage the fundraising process with Limited Partners, including participating in meetings with Partners, managing follow-ups, and taking responsibility of legal documentation, KYC and LP onboarding process
  • Coordinate with our external counsel, fund administrator, and internal team on fundraising processes and closings
  • Develop and maintain fund-level benchmarking data
  • Help productise portfolio reporting beyond the basic cash flow planning
  • Pro-actively manage with Partners the follow-on financing pipeline in light with the fund’s performance and growth targets
  • Where appropriate, engage with portfolio companies on internal reporting, budgeting, fundraising planning, and M&A topics
  • Calculate quarterly IRR movements and other fund metrics along with ad hoc waterfall carry calculations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a leading university
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private market funds
  • Experience within the private credit/debt funds is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Mastery of presentation preparation tools
