Are you looking to advance your career in the Industrial Automation industry? Are you looking to join a fast-growing company and become an integral part of their sales team as an Area Sales Manager to cover the South West region?
My client manufacture a comprehensive range of Industrial Automation products and solutions and work with a wide network of OEM\’s, End User\’s, Panel Builders and distribution customers.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of customer interactions.
- Be technically knowledgeable about all product lines (Drives & Plc\’s etc.) sold by the business.
- Pre-qualify requests for quotations with calls where appropriate.
- Follow, plan, and execute both branch and nationwide sales strategies.
- Follow up on visits and maintain records of your sales pipeline.
- Maintain CRM records for discounts, contacts, and carriage for any customer you interact with.
- Comfortably call non-buying, turned down, and new customers to arrange initial meetings.
- Actively promote product benefits and value statements on LinkedIn.
- Plan and execute marketing events throughout the financial year.
- Take ownership of assigned accounts, monitor quotes, orders, and delivery issues, and visit customers regularly to stay informed about their business.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or higher in electrical or control engineering (Not essential)
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Friendly, approachable, and enjoys speaking to people on the phone.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to regulate time under stressful conditions.
- Proficiency in IT, especially with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
