The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is the official body representing over 13,000 professionals working in: logistics, distribution, warehouse, transport and supply chain.
- Deliver month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance of financial statements for multiple UK legal entities.
- Prepare statutory accounts compliant with IFRS/GAAP and latest disclosure requirements.
- Support audit processes and manage multiple audit engagements.
Collaboration and Data Management
- Collaborate with Business Development, Legal, and FP&A teams to understand business transactions and their financial impact.
- Coordinate data collection, consolidation, and reconciliation processes.
- Review, analyze, and reconcile intercompany positions and ensure governance in transactions.
Technology and Process Improvement
- Demonstrate expertise in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and leverage technology for data analysis and reporting.
- Support continuous process improvement and system enhancements.
Tax and Compliance Support
- Assist the Regional Tax Team with corporation tax compliance, VAT, and other tax filings.
- Partner with Internal Audit to ensure financial controls and procedures are compliant with DP World Risk Framework.
What You Will Bring
- ACCA or ICAEW\’s ACA qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience with in-depth knowledge of accounting standards and reporting guidelines.
- Experience in a fast-growth, acquisitive environment and dealing with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Oracle Fusion, FCCS, and Caseware.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
