We are looking for a Planner / Senior Planner that has aspirations to grow into an area GROUP PLANNER for the NORTH OF England.
You will be working alongside the Project Manager with a dotted line in the Group Head of Planning. Are you currently based in the North of England within commuting distance of Hull. If not are you happy to work away
This role will be based on site 5 days a week – Please note there will be NO option of remote working so don’t ask as it’s not their culture as a business !
Key Responsibilities:
- monitor project schedules, ensuring all phases of construction are accounted for and consistent message is relayed
- work with the site team to develop timelines , milestones, identifying critical paths and potential risk / delays
- fall back on your site experience to add value and assist at all stages . What solutions / proposals spring to mind ?
- drive and manage but short , mid and long term programs on site
Requirements:
- Experience as a hands on no1 planner on site for a main contractor or sub-contractor
- clear construction education & training be that HND, Trade or Civil Engineer
- Solid software experience on Primavera 6 & Asta
- Experience in design and build – building projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills able to dig into the detail and sequencing
- Confident at client facing and getting the message up and downstream building collaboration with the project team, client and supply chain
PACKAGE
- basic salary range of £70-85,000
- bonus scheme , medical , pension and life cover
