We re working with a specialist technology company that designs and installs integrated systems for high-spec properties . They\’re now looking for an experienced Senior Installation Engineer to lead system installations across residential and commercial environments.
In this role, you ll be responsible for delivering complete setups – including media systems, control interfaces, and structured cabling – ensuring everything is configured, tested, and working to a high standard. You ll also support junior team members and liaise with clients on-site to deliver a smooth project experience.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Leading installations of technology systems, from audio-visual setups to control and networking
- Reading and working from wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Commissioning systems and completing client handovers
- Supporting less experienced engineers with training and troubleshooting
- Diagnosing faults and resolving issues both on-site and remotely
- Coordinating with internal teams to keep projects on track
- Completing reports and keeping job documentation up to date
What You ll Need
- Around 3+ years of experience in a technical installation or engineering role
- Familiarity with systems such as Control4, Lutron, Crestron, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and a good understanding of signal flow and system structure
- Basic IP/networking knowledge (e.g., switches, routers, VLANs)
- Good communication skills and confidence working on-site with clients
- Full UK driving licence
