The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are working with one of the market leaders in Social Housing, based between the Head Office and home. You will report to the Senior Finance Partner and support them in providing efficient and effective services to key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and timely financial information related to service charges to support budget preparation, management accounts, KPI and performance analysis, and control reviews.
- Leading the year-end production of service charge statements for customers and liaising with auditors for sign-off.
- Supporting the development and implementation of group service charge policies and frameworks, ensuring compliance with legislation, government guidelines, and Group policies.
- Acting as the lead for all colleague and internal queries related to service charges, ensuring consistent application across all customer types, including leaseholders and tenants with Secure Rent Status.
- Ensuring all information regarding service charges and other charges is up-to-date on group IT systems, including new properties built or acquired during the year.
- Providing relevant service charge information to support performance and budget reporting, including reviews on Value for Money (VfM) of services delivered.
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships to effectively deliver the group\’s service charge strategy.
- Preparing financial information required for first-tier tribunals.
- Managing workflow within the team and ensuring compliance checks and reviews on service charge expenditure are performed.
- Responding to customer queries and seeking new ways to support customer needs, delivering a customer-focused service.
