Our client is a leading residential main contractor with an established reputation across the regional market and beyond. Typical projects within the residential sector include social housing and open market developments, typically between 70-130 units.
Senior Site Manager – The Role:
A fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to work on a residential new build project in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day design and build on a project reporting to a Contracts Manager. The role involves overseeing site operations, programming, quality checks, and subcontractor management. The project is a medium-scale residential development comprising approximately 100 units, constructed using timber and traditional framing.
Senior Site Manager – The Person:
- You will have solid experience with a residential main contractor.
- Well educated – either Degree or HND level ideally.
- Commutable between Exeter and Bristol.
- Demonstrable experience delivering residential (houses) projects within budget and schedule.
- Good IT skills, able to use a variety of systems.
- Experience in creating and working to 2-3 week programmes.
- You must have experience delivering at least 50 units simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience managing site-based trades teams and direct workforce.
- Innovative, with the ability to identify better ways of doing things.
