About the Role
Ensigna Construction is looking for an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of public and commercial construction projects ranging from £1m to £8m. This is a senior leadership role within a growing business, ideal for someone with a strong background in public sector delivery and a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
You will oversee projects from pre-construction through to completion, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the successful delivery of multiple live projects across the education, healthcare, civic, and commercial sectors

Support pre-construction activities including tender input, methodology development, and value engineering

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

Oversee programme management, health and safety, quality assurance, and commercial performance

Work closely with site teams to manage risk, resolve issues, and drive operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, public procurement standards, and construction regulations
