The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E), a subsidiary of Edvance, is at the forefront of delivering the next generation of nuclear power in the UK. As part of our mission, we are designing and constructing the nuclear island for Hinkley Point C (HPC) and preparing for the replication of this design at Sizewell C (SZC). These projects are vital to providing low-carbon electricity to millions of homes and achieving the UK’s Net Zero goals.
We’re looking for a Contracts Configuration Lead to join our dynamic Equipment engineering sequence team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in managing complex engineering contracts and configuration processes across two of the most ambitious nuclear projects in Europe.

What You’ll Be Doing
As the Contracts Configuration Lead for the HPC Equipment Scope, you’ll be at the heart of managing the engineering contract landscape for HPC and SZC. You’ll lead the coordination of contract configuration activities, ensuring that data and documentation flow seamlessly across teams and sequences. Your work will directly support the progress of engineering sequences and the resolution of scope gaps and non-conformance issues.
You’ll oversee the delivery of annual task orders, manage inter-sequence topics, and act as the main point of contact for post design transfer to site subjects. Your leadership will be key in driving maturity reporting, coordinating responses to contractual events, and ensuring alignment with internal procedures and standards.
This role also involves managing a dedicated team, fostering collaboration between UK and French counterparts, and ensuring that all activities are tracked, reported, and escalated appropriately to support project success.
Who You Are
You bring experience in engineering, project management, or contract management—ideally within the nuclear or highly regulated sectors. You’re confident navigating complex contract structures and thrive in multi-disciplinary environments where priorities shift and evolve.
You’re a natural collaborator, able to coach and support your team while maintaining a clear focus on delivery. Familiarity with EDF’s contract management systems and knowledge of HPC or Flamanville 3 (FA3) projects would be a strong advantage. French language skills are a bonus.
You’re someone who sees the bigger picture, understands the importance of process, and is ready to lead with purpose in a role that truly makes a difference.
