About the Client and Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Security Manager to join a prestigious managed service organisation based in London. You will join a growing team to implement Security policies, be the thought leader for information security processes and practices, and drive all ISO27001 governance for internal users
Essential Requirements: (40% hands-on technical security tools and 60% team management)
- Implement security principles, standards, and governance
- Led and mentored a team of security professionals, providing technical guidance and career development while managing performance and resource allocation across security initiatives
- Create processes and create a culture to manage and mitigate IT security risk
- Managing IT security incidents and evaluation of compliance and ongoing performance against KPIs: including investigation, response, and reporting
- Responding to RFPs and providing advice to our business and customers on IT Security and Data Management related matters
- Keeping abreast of external customer information and cyber security requirements and embedding them into our policies and processes
- Undertaking security compliance monitoring and security policy assessments/audits
Experience required:
- At least 5 years of experience within IT Security Management
- ITSM / Service Management experience
- ISO27001 accreditation
- Deep hands-on technical expertise in security tools, especially Information security solutions
- CyberEssentials knowledge
