Body Shop Technician Welder Fabricator
£39k – £42k
We are looking for an experienced technician to work in our busy body shop.
To qualify for this role you MUST be experienced in working on all aspects of
commercial trailers from curtain repairs, rollers shutter repairs and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair and modify commercial
- trailers and related components.
- Carry out structural repairs including floor repairs, curtain replacements,
- and pelmet renewals
- Repair and install curtain sides, roller shutters, and rear barn doors on
- commercial trailers.
- Conduct fibreglass and filler work to maintain and restore vehicle body
- integrity.
- Diagnose and fix a variety of trailer issues across a large and diverse
- fleet.
- Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard , in
- compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient workflow in a
- busy body shop environment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area and properly handle tools
- and equipment.
- Work Monday to Friday (08:00–17:30) with opportunities for overtime and Saturday rota participation.
Reports Directly To: Workshop Manager / Managing Director
Pay: £16-17 Per Hour.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:30 with options for overtime and Saturday morning rota.
Holiday: 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays.
