You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations including working from council buildings and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Angus Health & Social Care Partnership are seeking a Research and Information Officer to play a crucial role in collecting and compiling Scottish Government aggregate returns and key performance indicators. This position involves providing statistical analysis and interpretation of information, producing management reports, and contributing to the development of a robust performance management framework. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance systems, responding to information requests, supporting policy development, and providing training to staff. A key aspect of the role is to ensure effective information systems are in place and to comply with all data protection laws.

The ideal candidate will possess an HND in IT or equivalent, along with excellent numeracy, IT, and communication skills. Essential requirements include knowledge of statistical software packages, experience in data analysis and report production, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines. Desirable qualifications include a degree in IT/Information Management or a related subject, and experience with Business Objects, QGIS, and Pentana.
