FINTEC recruit is recruiting on behalf of our client for aSenior Project Engineer. This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of a major construction/building refurbishment project in the Leeds area.
It is full time position for an 18 month duration with a potential extension. This is a leadership role for an experienced engineer with a strong mechanical bias, offering the chance to work on a high-value, technically complex project with long-term potential. Salary is £50,000 to £60,000 plus excellent benefits. Responsibilities: –
- Promote and uphold a “Safety First” culture across all project activities
- Lead early-stage planning to drive efficiency and profitability
- Ensure project scope aligns with client expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and capitalise on opportunities
- Manage procurement and delivery of engineering solutions
- Provide accurate progress reports to Project and Commercial leads
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors
- Inspire and guide your project team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure smooth and profitable project close-out
Skills and Experience required for the Senior Project Engineer role:
- Proven experience in mechanical installations within construction and HVAC experience
- Track record insenior engineering or project delivery roles
- Experience on complex, high-value building services projects (£10m+)
- Recognised mechanical trade or professional qualification
