PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work with the Legal team to provide key support for efficient and effective contracts administration within the business with a focus on software and hardware supply, professional services and managed services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviewing and responding to legal issues and enquiries from both internal and external customers
- Ensuring end-to-end management all contracts that pass through the Legal department β MSA, GTC, EULA, Reseller Agreements, Tenders, Frameworks
- Reviewing key professional services Partner Agreements
- Responding to general legal enquiries
INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working closely with the Vendor Ops, Sales, Tenders, Finance and Services teams to provide support to partners, customers and suppliers in drafting relevant contracts
- Drafting / redrafting and negotiating agreements
- Representing Bytes in front of both customers and suppliers throughout commercial discussions and negotiations
- Supporting the Legal team with contractual matters
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Qualifications
- Degree in Business or Law – ESSENTIAL
Years of Experience
- 1-2 yearsβ worth of experience in a contracts administration or legal administration role – ESSENTIAL
Other Requirements
- Negotiation skills – DESIRABLE
- A good understanding of both the UK legal system and commercial law – DESIRABLE
- A general understanding of IT reseller relationships – DESIRABLE
- Experience with public sector frameworks – DESIRABLE
