At Bath & North East Somerset Council we have one overriding purpose – to improve people’s lives. We are looking for a Care Assistant to join are growing team. Based in one of our Community Resource Centres at Cleeve Court Twerton, Bath. Working towards being a dementia home of excellence. This role is for 18 hours per week and involves a rota system with some weekends and bank holidays for which enhancements are paid. Cleeve Court offers a supportive atmosphere which is in Twerton, Bath delivering residential/ dementia care, and this is easily accessible via public transport or car. As a Care Assistant, you will: Assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. Promote resident’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of person-centred care. Adhere to and complete accurate and timely records of the care and support provided to residents. Providing support to access third party and NHS services. Be a strong team player and work on own initiative when needed. Promote positive lifestyle choices, offering individuals the opportunity and motivation to achieve their best. About You Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality person-centred care is essential and full training will be provided.
