Strategic Land & Property Development Manager role to develop our property portfolio over 300 sites. You will have the experience to identify opportunities to maximise the return on investment., * Strategic Land Management: Lead the design, implementation, and management of enabling projects to market or release land for development opportunities.

  • Land Utilisation: Review and recommend land disposals and development opportunities, ensuring best value is achieved.

  • Disposal Process Management: Oversee the entire disposal process, from internal review to sale completion.

  • Collaboration: Work with legal, asset management, biodiversity, and land management teams to ensure tenant agreements align with organisational goals and statutory compliance.

  • Supplier Oversight: Manage and instruct Valuers, land agents, Lawyers, and other professionals acting on our behalf

  • Efficiency Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process efficiencies and added value.

  • Compliance and Enablement: Deliver enablement management plans and ensure compliance with estates responsibilities.

  • Proven experience in managing strategic land disposals, planning promotions, and development programmes

  • Track record in effective and collaborative management of suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal capabilities.

  • IT proficiency and the ability to produce high-quality reports and plans.

  • Understanding of the water industry, telecoms code and leases, and environmental goals is desirable.

  • Experience acting as a client is advantageous., * Qualifications: RICS qualification

  • Previous experience in property development is essential

  • Ability to manage a diverse portfolio

  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a focus on delivering value.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Salary: (dependent on skills and experience).

  • Hybrid role, with the expectations of a minimum two days a week in the office.

  • Hours of work: 37
